Peap's Italian 21st Birthday!

Since 23 is just too damn old ;) we decided to celebrate Nicole's "21st" birthday in Italy! (Birthday Cake to the Left)

For those of you who forgot, it was July 4, so we donned our Red, White and Blue and set out PROUD to be Americans! We skipped down the streets singing "God Bless America", "Proud to be an American", "Star Spangled Banner" and the always traditional song, "She'll be Comin' Around the Mountain." Peaps thought it very important for EVERYONE to celebrate the birth of America and even stopped a moving car to serenade the driver a la "God Bless America."

A group of us ate dinner at Trattoria Za-Za...Amazing! We had the best Ravioli with walnut sauce...it was truly Holy Ravioli. We got three liters of wine and our waiter told us that if we finished them all he would bring us a FREE one! Naturally we chugged what was left and proudly received a free liter of wine :)
We went to the Lion's Fountain (a pub) and since it was Nicole's birthday they gave her a red, white and blue shot for free! It was a school night so most people went home early but we weren't done yet. So we headed to Twice to do some dancing. When we got tired of fighting away the creepers, we left and headed for our new favorite late night spot...the Secret Bakery! The Secret Bakery is exactly what it sounds like. A bakery that opens late at night with no sign of where or what it is. The first couple of times we had to get a local to show us because its so hard to find. Once you are there, you knock on the door and a baker comes out. You tell him what you want and he brings it out a few minutes later. All the while, you must be quiet, shhhhhh, cause its the secret bakery! Then we walked home and helped ourselves to a slice of the birthday cake. All in all it was a good celebration of America and the birth of Nicole Peaper!
